Now, we have one of the biggest names to enter the portal, Arizona State quarterback Jaden Rashada.

A four-star recruit out of California, Rashada spent his freshman year with the Sun Devils, opening the 2023 season as the starter.
He was struck with injury issues, making only three appearances. He had a 53.7 completion percentage for 485 yards while throwing four touchdowns and three interceptions in a disappointing 3-9 finish for the Sun Devils.
It appears that there is already a front-runner for Rashada, with the University of Georgia reportedly making a big push to bring him for the future with quarterback Carson Beck entrenched as the starter.

With a thumb injury keeping Rashada out of spring practice, incoming Michigan State transfer quarterback Sam Leavitt took reps as the starter and has been so impressive that it likely played a big factor in Rashada entering the portal.

Rashada isn't new to changing schools, as he was committed to both the University of Miami and the University of Florida before landing with the Sun Devils out of high school after a failed NIL deal with Florida.
While he would have liked for a player with Rashada's talent to stick around, Sun Devils head coach Kenny Dillingham let it be known that there were no hard feelings with his decision to transfer and that he will be rooting for him.
The Sun Devils figure to be active in the transfer portal in search of another body at quarterback, with only two left on scholarship and their third quarterback being a preferred walk-on.
Only 20 years old, Rashada still has four years of eligibility left and a very bright future ahead of him.
