Golden State Warriors Stephen Curry Does Perfect Troll Job On Injured Houston Rockets Player
Thomas Shea-USA TODAY Sports

The Golden State Warriors won their critical matchup Thursday against the Houston Rockets. Stephen Curry made sure to add insult to injury against one of the players on the opposing sideline.

The Warriors beat the Rockets 133-110 at Toyota Center in Houston, Texas. The result all but eliminated Houston from postseason contention as they fell a full four games behind Golden State for the 10th seed in the West with just six regular season games left for both teams.

Golden State Warriors Star Stephen Curry Trolls Tari Eason

Rockets wing Tari Eason recently went viral for taunting the Warriors to “come out and play” as the Rockets crept closer and closer in the standings. It was in reference to the 1979 cult classic film “The Warriors.”

Curry and the rest of the Warriors clearly caught wind of Eason’s trash talk. With Thursday’s game all but wrapped up, the 2-time MVP was seen wearing empty water bottles on his fingers. The Warriors star mimicked the “Warriors” movie antagonist Luther, who did the same thing with glass bottles in the film.

Curry wasn’t the only one who got some revenge on Eason for his trash talk. Warriors shooting guard Klay Thompson called Eason “lame” for starting beef with Golden State despite not actually being in the Rockets’ lineup. Eason has been out with a leg injury since January 1st.

The Golden State Warriors Indeed Came Out To Play Against the Houston Rockets

Curry got his usual production with 29 points on 9/14 shooting to go along with 6 rebounds and 6 assists. Thompson was in vintage form against Houston. Curry’s splash brother also tallied 29 points on 11/15 shooting and 7 three-pointers.

After going on a stunning 11-game win streak, the Rockets got as close as just one game behind the Warriors for the West’s final play-in tournament spot. But Houston has since fallen in three consecutive games, while Golden State has won six straight to seal 10th place in the West.
